Picnic

UofM held it's fourth annual sickle cell picnic on Saturday. The weather was perfect. They had a great clown and DJ, and new this year was a pony ride. Jillian looks like she will be quite the equestrian, with heels down and toes pointed forward with never a lesson in her life. She is a natural. Colleen couldn't get enough riding either. How fun. They had bounce houses, and good food and everyone had a great time. Colleen is now eleven months post transplant and looked so good on Saturday, everyone that knew her six months ago had to comment how wonderful she is doing. Colleen was also the only Sweetman to perform at the talent show. She sang a very quiet rendition of "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah". Difficult to hear, but she was awarded a $5 gift card to Meijer for her beautiful performance! Congratulations Colleen.
