BMT Clinic

Colleen went to the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic yesterday. She only has to be seen there once a year, and same at the long term follow up clinic. Those appointments alternate so she is seen every six months. Other than still struggling with her minuscule weight gain, she is doing great. Her hemoglobin is a bit low at 10.9, but before the transplant she was normally around 7.0. Her "hematocrit" is a tad low too at 32.5 (normal 34.0-48.0).

She plays T-Ball now, her first game was last Monday. She is starting a summer reading program on Saturday, so hopefully she can catch up to her peers before first grade. This month makes TWO YEARS since Colleen's last hospital admission! What a blessing.
